Ground Service Assistance, Transport, First Class Accomodation, Translation and Guidance to Maximise your Healing Experience.
Dear Enquirer,
We provide a ground service out of Brasilia that supplies: transport to and from Abadiania, meals and accommodation for ten days, translation service, and our constant guidance through the house procedures to ensure you get the best possible result from your visit to John of God. Our normal routine is to meet at the Naoum Plaza Hotel in Brasilia on the selected date, and the next day take our air-conditioned coach to Abadiania in time for the Wednesday afternoon session at the sanctuary.
It is cheaper & more flexible if you buy your own airfares in your country. This allows you the flexibility in the of planning your trip and the use of frequent flyer points or special airline deals.
In the USA, check United Airlines on the web for bargain prices to Sao Paulo.
From Australia we recommend any Flight Centre. The best route is flying Qantas/Lan Chile to Santiago and then to Sao Paulo and a domestic flight to Brasilia. Alternatively try Aerolinias Argentina to Buenos Airies and then to Sao Paulo and on to Brasilia.
In other countries consult your local travel agent.
From the USA you will fly to Sao Paolo and then take a domestic flight to Brasilia. You will need to co-ordinate the arrival of your flight to enable you to arrive in Brasilia by the nominated Tuesday. Don't be too concerned about the timing, just take a taxi to the Naoum Plaza Hotel and meet us in the lobby at 7.30 pm for dinner at a nearby restaurant. The next morning-Wednesday- we will depart by coach for Abadiania returning on the second Saturday morning to Brasilia. You will depart for home on the Saturday unless you want to stay on, in which case we will help you secure long term accommodation at a very budget price.
The all-inclusive cost is only USD$1390 (or equivalent) which covers:
- an in-coming recuperative night in the five-star Naoum Plaza Hotel
- bus transfers (a bus is provided to and from Abadiania, any change of plans that
requires individual transport must be paid directly to the driver) - ten nights in Abadiania
- three meals a day including juice, water, tea and/or coffee.
- our translation services
- our constant assistance and guidance to ensure the best results from your visit
You will only need pocket money for souvenirs, gemstones, coffees and herbs if prescribed - US$4 per bottle, usually 5 or 10 prescribed, and a few possible crystal bed therapies prior to treatment at $10 per session.
João will not accept payment - but you may make a donation if you wish.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you are planning to come.
We will need payment in advance to enable us to secure accommodation. If the trip fails to eventuate for any reason all monies less US$250 are refundable. We will also need your name (as it appears on your passport), address and passport number (for bus travel permits in Brazil).
If travelling from the USA or Europe please send funds by wire transfer through your bank and deduct the bank charges from the amount (we will pay the charge):
Please contact us for payment methods.
About the Casa de Dom Inácio
The center is in rural central Brazil, south west of the capitol Brasilia. Few people speak English and it is more than a bit confusing. We have accompanied many people there over the past twelve years with considerable success. When "in-entity" João loses consciousness. The Entity says very little and with so many people to treat, that is understandable. He rarely offers any individual spiritual guidance because we must all make our own "free will decisions" but for those who attend the house many great changes affect them, spiritually and physically. We have never taken anyone who has not been profoundly changed by the experience but it is seldom a "bolt of lightening" for, whilst you will see many instantaneous "miraculous" cures each day, the majority take time to effect a cure - usually about three months. Naturally, like orthodox medicine, there can be no guarantees. The majority of people, depending on the gravity of their illness, respond favorably with time. Some, however, do not - a missing limb cannot be replaced and similarly a severely degenerated system might not respond - there is a point beyond which the body cannot regenerate. If possible, it is advisable to stay at Abadiania for more than one week. This allows more time and choice for the Entity to treat your ailment. If you decide to stay longer we can help you procure inexpensive accommodation in the village.

After seeing him at work no one can ever doubt the existence of a spirit dimension and a powerful creative force. The ability to tap into that force for the rest of your life is one of the great benefits. If you are a healer or a medium the experience will be of immense help to you. Any medical problems you have will be dealt with by João-in-entity but you will need to liaise with us beforehand to ensure we understand your requirements.
If you decide to come you should remember the following:
1) Bring white or light colored clothing for the three days at the sanctuary.
2) Bring adequate US$ to last you in cash – ATMs are scarce in Brazil
You can always bring the excess back home. Change some US dollars at the
airport banks into $Reals - enough to last you for the trip. Do not take them out of
Brazil as you cannot change them. Travelers Cheques are difficult to change.
3) Leave expensive jewellery at home. Bring just a cheap watch.
4) João does not mind close-up photography so bring your camera or video.
5) Be sure your passport is valid for six months. Check to see if you need a visa.
6) Bring a towel and soap - the pousadas seem to have short supply.
7) Unless you have a European passport you will need a tourist visa from the
Brazilian Consulate.
8) Travel insurance is essential to cover you in the event of accident, illness, loss of personal belongings or death.
This should cover it all but if you require more information please don't hesitate to contact us.
